Senator Tom Sherman is serving his first term representing Senate District 24. For the 2019-2020 legislative session, he serves as Chairman of the Health and Human Services Committee, and Vice Chairman of the Election Law and Municipal Affairs Committee.

Before being elected to the Senate in 2018, Senator Sherman served in the New Hampshire House of Representatives. Senator Sherman is also a physician and leader in health care in his community. Senator Sherman lives in Rye with his wife and three sons.
