CONCORD - Today, the Senate Health and Human Services Committee passed an amendment to SB 144, presented by Senator Whitley, to implement a 3-month pilot program to provide enrollment-based reimbursement to child care providers who accept child care scholarships through the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) plan for New Hampshire.
After the vote, Senator Whitley (D-Hopkinton) issued the following statement:
“Today’s vote is a reflection of months of hard work and bipartisan compromise. This pilot program is an important first step towards addressing the clear need for increased access to safe and affordable child care. Only by taking the needs of our working families into account will we be able to sustain a robust and modern economy.”
