CONCORD—Today, the New Hampshire Senate passed SB 236-FN, to fund upgrades for substance use disorder treatment facilities in ongoing efforts to fight against New Hampshire’s opioid epidemic.
Senator Morgan (D-Brentwood), prime sponsor of SB 236-FN, released the following statement after the vote:
“There is no one silver bullet to combat New Hampshire’s opioid epidemic. It will take all of us working on a multi-pronged approach to end this scourge in our state. By providing the NH Department of Health and Human Services the resources they need to create and upgrade substance use disorder facilities, SB 236-FN will aid in these efforts by guaranteeing that our citizens can get the substance use disorder treatment they need, when they need it, in appropriate facilities.”
