Senator Feltes Introduces SB 14-FN, Improving NH Children’s System of Care
CONCORD—Today, Senator Feltes introduced SB 14-FN, relative to child welfare, which makes improvements to the entire child-serving system in alignment with the DCYF Adequacy and Enhancement Assessment, the federal The Family First Prevention Services Act, and the 10 Year Mental Health Plan.
Senator Feltes released the following statement after the hearing:
"SB 14 is a cost-effective, comprehensive children's system of care that will timely address the needs of our children, reducing significant mental health and child protection costs down the road. It follows on the recommendations of the Adequacy and Enhancement recommendations provided for New Hampshire in July of 2018, and it is time to put our children first with this bipartisan legislation."
